IHMS announces Debut of the IHMS MEGA PLAN

IHMS has announced the debut of a new product: the IHMS MEGA PLAN.

IHMS has designed this comprehensive health insurance product for staff and dependants of local nationals and expatriates residing and working in Nigeria to offer a boundary-less health insurance cover. The product is reinsured by ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company of India, and they would also assist IHMS in claims related services to be provided to insured for treatment in India

According to the Chief Operating Officer, Dr Chidi Ukandu,”the IHMS Mega Plan gives everyone access to quality health services in Nigeria, India and all parts of the World”.

Buttressing this, the Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Wole Olomojobi affirmed that “this is the first time a boundary-less health insurance product is originating in Nigeria. The Mega Plan offers best in class health services and cashless access to some of the best hospitals in India.”

The IHMS Mega Plan benefits include: In and Out-patient consultations, treatment option in India –allows enrollees access to over 4000 hospitals in India through the Indian network and also provides assistance with travel arrangements to India. The plan also covers maternal dental and optical care. There are other optional covers such as emergency evacuation to India, airfare expenses, repatriation of mortal remains and worldwide emergency cover including covers in the U.S and Canada.
